Explore issues around the most commonly studied brainwave frequencies and how they alter our perception of time… —How we can slow down time using chronostasis… —The role of selective attention in how we experience time, and finally… —Why people in life-threatening emergencies experience the slowing down of time.
In this podcast I talk with Ricky Rosen about different perceptions of time. One concept I share is when there is more gravity time is slower than if their is less gravity time is slower. In my book I talk about how micro and macro experiences of time differ. From a micro perspective when your waiting on a lean cuisine to come out of a microwave 2 minutes might seem like an eternity. On a macro sense time fly’s by when your 29 but goes slower at 14. The reason why the temp of time differs is because time is experiential and physical. With physical time exist with that said we have our perceptions. So time is one part physical one part perception. Because we control perception we have the ability to influence and in some instances control time. Time doesn’t exist without matter moving around. Our perception make us part of the quatum mix.
